After living in the Chicago area all of our lives, our dream upon retirement, was to move to the twin lakes area.  So, in the late months of 1994, we contacted Stubenfoll Builders and, together, we designed our new home, which was completed  mid summer of '95.  While we were up north in Illinois preparing for our upcoming move to Bull Shoals, Gary Stubenfoll kept in close contact by phone and mail as to the progress of this - our very first, new home.  Midway through the construction, we made a trip down to see for ourselves the quality of material being used and the attention being given to our designed specifications.  We were very impressed.  Gary always made himself available to answer any and all questions and to give advice regarding appliances, carpeting, etc.  We were very happy and well satisfied with our beautiful new home and we could end by saying, "We lived there, happily-ever after!" But, wait!  A year later, we purchased a larger plot of land and once again, contracted with Stubenfoll Builders to construct a larger home for us. Being so very satisfied with our first new house, we never, even considered any other local builder.  We've been in this second, beautiful home five plus years and hope to live here "Happily ever after!"

Dear Gary:

It was indeed a pleasure having our home built by Stubenfoll Construction.
Initially, we thought it would be a nightmare building a new home, especially
in an area where we were not really familiar with new home contractors and
their knowledge.  We have to thank my brother, Jim, for suggesting we talk
to you and look at some of the homes built by Stubenfoll Construction.
After touring a few of these homes, Wayne and I were really impressed with
the quality workmanship and materials you put into the homes you build and,
without reservation, made the decision to contact you to build our home.
We had a basic understanding of the type of floor plan we wanted and, 
thanks to email and the computer, were able to work long distance with you 
to finalize our floor plan.  You were very instrumental in bringing our thoughts
and wants to reality.  Once these decisions were made you always made
yourself available to us whenever we had questions or needed to make any
changes.  And, Lord knows, we made a few!  It meant a lot to us, being in
the area to watch our home being built, piece by piece and to be very
involved from the onset. 

We can honestly say that both you and all of your other
sub-contractors went the extra mile to accommodate our needs and insure
our home was exactly what we wanted.

In closing, we feel we not only received a "beautiful" home, but many life-
long friends in the process!

Both Wayne and I want you to know that anytime you would like to show
our home to a prospective customer, we would consider it an honor to do so!
